Meeting a Shiba Inu for the first time is a dog lover’s dream. These dogs are not that common, and once you see them in real life, their cuteness proves beyond expectation. They exude so much warmth and joy that meeting them is akin to meeting your favorite celebrity.
However, Shiba Inus are not aware of their own cuteness. That’s what makes them even cuter. They’re like celebrities sans celebrity complex.
In fact, they are just as excited to meet strangers and strange creatures. In our featured video, we have a Shiba Inu who gets excited over his first encounter with a flock of ducks. Watch the video below.
The Shiba Inu in our video is named Haribo. He lives in Vancouver, Canada. It’s a beautiful city with lots of scenic places, including lake parks. Today Haribo and his human visit one of these lake parks.
The highlight of Haribo’s day at the park is his encounter with ducks. This is the first time Haribo gets to see them. He quickly turns into a fanboy.
The ducks float gracefully on the lake’s surface. They do not pay attention to Haribo. Meanwhile, Haribo is all eyes on the strange creatures in front of him.
We can tell Haribo’s eagerness to get close to the flock of ducks. Maybe he wants to befriend all of them. Unfortunately, Haribo can’t get into the water.
At one point in the video, Haribo seems to ask for his human’s permission to get in the water, closer to the flock of ducks. Of course, he’s not allowed to do so. We figure the water in that lake is too cold, and Haribo might get the sniffles.
We’re happy that Haribo had the chance to meet ducks in real life. Maybe next time, in the summer, he can join them in the water.
Thanks to Haribo the Shiba
