In the Philippines, a dog named Mia took the internet by storm. A video of her while riding her fur daddy’s motorcycle circulated online. Now, the video already has over 11M views.
Mia loves riding with her daddy on a motorcycle, and she rides like a pro. She can hop onto the bike on her own without needing any special seat or harness. She just holds onto her daddy’s back and keeps still while the motorcycle runs.
The intelligent dog’s daddy Joey Gumpal works as a newspaper delivery rider. He has no one left at home to look after Mia, so he decided to bring her wherever he goes. They start their day at 4:00 A.M. and are together until they slumber at night.
According to Joey, he started to train Mia to ride the motorcycle when she was still a puppy. He began by placing her in a box during rides to desensitize her from the vehicular sounds. Joey added that Mia could understand words. He lets her follow commands through words, not by giving her treats.
Aside from riding the motorcycle, the smart dog Mia also has other tricks up her sleeves. She knows proper table manners and would never touch the food without being asked to do so, even if it is right in front of her. She would also not dare to touch food if you tell her that it has poison. Smart girl indeed!
Since Joey lives away from his family, Mia has been his constant companion. He treats the lovable dog like his own daughter. And, the bond between them is tangible.
Several people already attempted to buy Mia from Joey. One of them was a man who offered to buy Mia for over $200 because he wanted to bring her to Honolulu. Joey declined the offers and said he would never sell off Mia even for $20,000. He loves the dog so much that no amount of money can make them part ways.
