Sandi loved fostering little kids and giving them temporary homes. Getting a heartbreak each time a child left, she adopted a new fur buddy to fill the void in her heart.
Best friends by fate
Sandi’s daughter ran a home for foster kids. Sandi loved to take care of the little children but would get upset when it was time for them to leave and go to their new homes.
To avoid the loneliness she was feeling, Sandi decided to get a little puppy. After a visit to the shelter, she came home with her new little pal, Reagan. Reagan was a tiny pup with so much energy. The puppy loved cuddling with whoever he saw and continuously sought for Sandi’s attention.
Sandi’s daughter was fostering an eleventh-month boy and completely fell in love with him. After thinking it through. She decided to adopt him, and the family started calling the boy their little buddy.
Buddy and Reagan instantly bonded the first time they met. They were the same age and shared every birthday party. As time passed, their friendship got stronger, and the two were inseparable.
Whenever Buddy was taking his nap, the dog would just sit by the door and wait for him to wake up. The two loved to be close to each other and just followed each other around.
Sandi worked as a fantastic photographer and got a lot of praise for the work she did. Buddy and Reagan’s friendship was Sandi’s favorite subject to shoot. She loved sharing their adorable friendship by posting it online for the world to see.
It brought Sandi so much joy to see the two of them having fun. Through their photos, she is also able to showcase the importance of foster care and rescuing animals in need.
It was still evident that a lot of people were afraid to do foster care because of the emotional attachment that came with the job. Sandi wanted to tell them how fulfilling it was to help give opportunities to children or animals in need.
Sharing Buddy and Reagan’s photographs helped raise money for Sandi’s foster home.
